The Edelweißspitze is the highest passable point of the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. The Edelweißhütte, our mountain inn on the Großglockner, is located high up at 2,571 m. Here we warmly welcome you with culinary delicacies from the region, a great view of 37 three-thousanders and 19 glaciers, and with comfortable overnight accommodation in our mountain hotel on the Grossglockner Road.

ABOUT OUR MOUNTAIN HUT ON THE GROSSGLOCKNER

The Edelweißhütte was built in 1935 by Peter and Julianna Lederer, our great-grandparents, and has been one of the most popular destinations on the Bergstrasse ever since. Over time , our mountain inn on the Grossglockner has been continuously expanded and modernized. Today we accommodate guests in our comfortable rooms , in the chalet and in the log cabin. The Edelweißalm , our self-catering hut at 1,540 m above sea level, is a very special holiday experience.

The Grossglockner High Alpine Road is very popular with bikers . Our visitors on two wheels look forward to special offers and support with small repairs. We also cordially invite you to our restaurant on Großglocknerstrasse.
